VectorFlow
VectorFlow is a control plane for Vector. You build a pipeline on a canvas from Vector’s sources, transforms and sinks, and VectorFlow turns it into Vector configuration. Agents on your hosts pull that configuration and run it.
With VectorFlow you can:
- build pipelines visually and write VRL for the transforms that need it
- group the hosts you collect from into environments, such as staging and production, and enroll an agent on each one
- validate a pipeline, read the configuration change, and deploy it to every agent in an environment
- watch agents and pipelines from the fleet view, and roll a change out to a few agents before the rest

- Build your first pipeline and deploy it to an agent.
- Enroll agents on the hosts you collect from.
To script VectorFlow, read the API page. The guides in the sidebar cover progressive rollouts, the AI assistant, and the Vector components VectorFlow leaves out.
Before you turn on the AI assistant, read AI features for what it sends to your model and how to switch it off.
